Domain name

The address people type to reach your website, like trustoby.com.

A domain name is the human-readable address of your website. You rent it yearly from a registrar such as GoDaddy, Namecheap or Cloudflare, usually for $15–$30 a year for a .com or .ca.

Always register the domain in your own name and account, not your designer's. Whoever controls the registrar account controls the site and your email.
