Thumb reach and tap targets
Primary actions belong in the lower half of the screen where a thumb naturally rests, and every tap target should be at least 44 by 44 pixels.
Content order is design
On mobile, layout collapses to a single column. The order you stack sections in is the experience. Decide it deliberately rather than inheriting it from the desktop grid.
Test on real devices
Browser device emulation hides slow networks, thumb ergonomics and font rendering issues. Test on an actual mid-range Android phone.
